Nach dem gestern die schon erwartete Lieferung von Phat Bodies eingetroffen ist, habe ich heute die Buggy Karosserie (Phat Bodies LRP Shark SC Bolt) lackiert.

Die Phat Bodies Banzai Mini Karosserie werde ich in den nächsten Tagen lackieren.

I will also be interested to see how your Banzai Mini turns out, I had some fun on-road with my own last summer.....
..........at least until I acquired the traxxas rally........

I was going to do British Racing Green, but I couldn't locate any (lexan) paint that was true BRG.

So I went with my "Team Colors" candy blue metallic, and checkered flags on the side.

Here's where the idea for the fender flares, and rear wing, came from.

I will suggest to you that when you run yours to save your Mongoose (it will overheat running on-road), and use your VXL instead.

I don't know how closely you looked at the photos of my own, but it will require some body mounting materials you might not have.

(I also made a custom front splitter, and if you would like one of them I would be happy to send one to you.)

But I will have to warn you, that although I luv my Vendettas/Sharks - my Traxxas Rally is a better onroad/drift car.
(25mm longer wheelbase)




(I found a Tamiya Mini-Cooper body for it that I've ordered, that after modding up some fender flares, will fit it perfectly.)

I think a big fan near the Mongoose should be fine

I have some old body mountings, i think i could use them for my mini

The Mongoose is a wonderful motor, I just found they ran VERY hot running onroad (and why I suggested using the VXL instead).

The way my body is mounted, I am also able to use a foam bumper (much more durable) - so if you need the parts number just let me know.

I replaced the parts pics/numbers - so if anyone else needs them for future reference, they're there.
