Here are a couple of photos of Traxxas's latest release, the 1/16th Mini-Rally.
I had my first few outings with the car, in the snow, and then on our local indoor ozite/carpet track - and I can just say I am in love with this little rocket. While the stock tires are more for drifting, since it accepts any wheel with a 12mm hex like standard 1/10th touring cars there are a lot of options available for it. Slapped on a pair of TC foams, and this little rig just ripped around the carpet track and over jumps with ease.

Ich hatte meine ersten Ausflüge mit dem Auto, im Schnee, und dann auf unseren lokalen Indoor ozite / Teppich Spur - und ich kann nur sagen, ich bin verliebt in dieses kleine Rakete. Während die Aktienmärkte Reifen mehr zum Driften sind, da sie einem Rad mit einem 12mm hex wie Standard 1:10 Tourenwagen akzeptiert es gibt eine Menge Möglichkeiten für sie. Schlug auf einem Paar von TC-Schäume, und dieser kleine Rigg nur riss rund um den Teppich zu verfolgen und über Hindernisse mit Leichtigkeit.[/b]

Other than tires, my first modification was a custom rear wing which helped tremendously with rear downforace.
Anders als Reifen, war meine erste Modifikation einer benutzerdefinierten Heckflügel, die enorm mit hinteren downforace geholfen.





This car comes with the same Brushless VXL system as was used in the Mini E-Revo, along with a multi-model 2.4G radio, and since it's LiPO ready this car has more than enough speed for the average user on 7.2 to 7.4 volts. While it can accept up to 3S (11.1v) packs, 2S makes more than enough power.

Während es akzeptieren kann bis 3S (11.1V) packt, macht 2S mehr als genug Leistung.

According to Traxxas, other than the stock body, they have plans to release three additional models - Ford Fiesta, Ford Mustang Boss 302, and a Ken Block Monster Energy Fiesta. These should be available sometime around the first of the year, December 2010 to January 2011.
Laut Traxxas, andere als die Aktie Körper, sie haben Pläne zu drei zusätzliche Modelle release - Ford Fiesta, Ford Mustang Boss 302 und ein Ken Block Monster Energy Fiesta. Diese sollten zur Verfügung stehen irgendwann um den ersten Tag des Jahres, Dezember 2010 bis Januar 2011.

I have plenty of upgrades/hop-ups planned or on their way for mine, to increase peformance or handling - being as there are quite a few option parts on the market for the Mini-Slash that will fit the Rally - and after my initial testing I would highly recommend this car to anyone considering adding to their stable of sub-1/10th scale cars.
Ich habe viele Upgrades / Hop-Ups geplant oder auf dem Weg zur Mine, um peformance oder Handhabung erhöhen - als da sind ein paar ganz Tuningteile auf dem Markt für den Mini-Slash, dass die Rallye fit werden - und nach meiner ersten Testen Ich würde empfehlen, das Auto für jeden erwägt, ihre Stall von sub-1/10th Skala Autos.

Personally I'm not much for "kopy-kat" cars or paint jobs, I prefer being original - but I am sure the Ken Block model will be very popular. It has a few bits and pieces that will make it different from the other Rally's other than the paint job (green wheels, and pushrods), but other than that it will be the same.

But this little car is a blast to drive - well worth getting - and being as it is based on the same Mini-Revo platform (but in the narrow Mini-Slash version) it should be as bullet-proof and indestructable as their other versions.

It's a great little car, the most fun I've had yet with an RTR............. now I just can wait to do some modifications/upgrades to it.

I had a carbon wing on one of my 1/10th pancars way back in the day. It was bulletproof, but tore up a lot of wingmounts.

To get the carbon-look on this one (I know you can't see it in the photos), I just used carbon stickers/decals.

Its wheelbase fits my mini-Rally perfectly (210mm), and modding up some add-on fender flares should be pretty easy.

I still plan on getting the Fiesta, when it comes out, but it will be nice to have something other than the stock body as an option.


And, between it and my banzai mini, I'll be King of the Mini-Coopers

After having some competitors complain at the last race because I was using the Rally (automobile/car) body, they thought it wasn't fair somehow, I ordered and painted a JConcepts illuzion Dare 1/16th body for it......... along with a rear wing.



It worked quite well at the track yesterday, even better than the Rally body (as it is lower and more aero-friendly) - and I managed to eek out a 2nd place finish in the 4wd Open Truck Class against a A-Main filled with Vendetta and Associated Trucks.
